So one day, Engineer-Kid Emily calls up Engineer-Dad Nelson(hereinafter known as "Pushover") and says...
"Dad?"
Pushover knew he was in trouble already, but he made the fatal mistake anyway.
"Yes, dear?"
"I found this puppy, in a box, on the side of the road. And Dad?"
"Uh huh" (Yet thinking, "Oh no...")
"It's a Jack Russell Terrier"
So she brought it home, and eventually found an excuse to place said puppy at Pushover's side. Pupply promptly curled up on his shoulder (Pushover was busy holding down the sofa at the time).
A few minutes later, Emily comes back in and all Pushover can manage to say is...
"So what are we going to name her?"
