| Epoxy Resin
|
| |
This, my friends, is the good stuff. Epoxy is used whenever dimensional stability and durability is a necessary property. It also doesn't stink up the place like polyester.
We have a wide variety listed, but there's lots more than what you'll see. Call for more information! |

| Epoxy Surface Coat
|
| |
| Surface coats look like very thick paint. They are the outer working surface of a mold and must be capable of picking up fine details. This is the material that is applied first when constructing a mold. The lamination or casting is made behind it. Once removed from the pattern, the mold surface that you can see and touch will be the surface coat. |

| Epoxy Laminating Resin
|
| |
| Laminating epoxies have uses that go way beyond moldmaking. In fact, you are much more likely to see one of these in action than any other form of epoxy. We generally refer to stuff like this as “composites”, and listed below are a few examples: Lamination involves the combination of catalyzed epoxy resin with a reinforcing fabric such as fiberglass, carbon or Kevlar (aramid). Properly constructed, things made this way are very strong and lightweight. |

| Epoxy Casting Resins
|
| |
| Casting epoxies are very popular for making molds that will be exposed to heat and/or pressure. Injection Molding tools can be made with epoxy, and so can molds for Vacuum Forming and Resin Transfer Molding. |

In this section are the epoxy materials that are designed to glue things together. |
